HISTORY
1999-2000
Nagai enters graduate school, and at the same time sets up Marble T-shirt Factory.
Using the research room as a studio, he produces original t-shirts day and night.
Starts web and graphic design work on the side of running this online t-shirt store.
Creates graphic design team under the name Marble.co
2001-2006
Finishes graduate school and moves the office to a small machiya in Nishijin. Releases the Marble Navigator homepage.
2007
Moves office to Bukkoji Takakura. Opens cafe marble at the same time.
On the second floor is the design office which is shared with a Intelligent Systems as a place to create new kinds of games.
2012
Sets up the Chiekoin office and second cafe, cafe marble Chiekoin opens in the Marble Buidling situated in Nishijin, Kyoto.
Shares office space with FOIL and on the third floor FOIL Gallery is set up.
2013
The design department is expanded into the 4th floor of Marble Building Chiekoin.
2015
Opens coffee shop DRIP & DROP COFFEE SUPPLY in basement of Piece Hostel Sanjo, Kyoto.
2017
Entire design department is moved to Marble Building Chiekoin. The cafe space at cafe marble Bukkoji is expanded to the second floor.
DRIP & DROP COFFEE SUPPLY Takoyakushi is opened in February and a stand is also opened at Hirakata Park The Boon in July.
