Graphic Designer (few openings)

We're looking for people who not only have a great grasp of graphic design, but also gathering new techniques, materials and knowledge, crossing into other genres such as web design, shop design and coming up with new ideas, projects.

• Designing for all kinds of clients: from old traditional businesses to fresh new start-ups
• Branding including CI/VI, direction and making all related tools
• Designing printed materials such as posters, flyers, books etc.
• Video and web
• Working on the branding and design for our cafes

We're looking for the following qualities in candidates

• Enjoy making things
• Always paying attention to new things and new design knowledge and likes taking on new challenges
• Proactive in communicating with team members and clients
• Great attention to detail
• Neccessary Skills
  Adobe Illustrator/ Photoshop is essential
  Skills in video editing software like AfterEffects, and experience in web design is highly welcome
  Comfortable with social media such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook etc.

*Business level Japanese skills are essential, minimum requirement of JPLT N2 or equivalent.

Students expecting to graduate March 2020 (Graduate school, university, further education and technical institutes)

Working conditions

• Graphic designer (permanent employee)
• Location: Chiekoin Office, Kyoto city
• Working hours: 10:00~19:00 (8 hours with 1 hour break)
• Salary: ¥193,000~ (including some overtime)
• * Trial period: usually three months
• Salary raise: twice annualy (from second year)
• Bonus: twice annualy (from second year)
• Retirement pay: Yes (after five years of service)
• Holidays: weekends, national holidays, summer holiday, winter holiday, familiy occasions, paid leave, child-rearing, home-care, maternity leave
• Annual holidays: About 120 days
• Welfare program: all kinds of social welfare, communting costs, meals and snacks, purchasing of books, company trip
